The Zen attitude is about being mindful of your thoughts and actions as well as the world around you. But it’s easier said than done, right? In this blog we’ll discuss some simple strategies for balancing your busy lifestyle and taking time for yourself!
You can even use some zen colors to create your sanctuary where you can shift your energy and find yourself spiritually. This can help your day with ease and flow.
When our days are filled with feeling centered and balanced, we can focus on what matters. And when we live life with a zen attitude, we also carry that zen attitude into everything we do. It’s also important to take care of yourself to be in a better place mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Taking care of yourself includes things like eating well, getting enough sleep, becoming more mindful, and connecting with the “spirit” you. Also, there are some surprisingly easy things we can adjust in our home environment to help us with the ebb and flow of positive energy.
What Is A Zen Attitude?
A Zen attitude is an idea of accepting and being at peace with the present moment. It is about living in the moment and not stressing about what will happen in the future.
Zen Attitude can be described as an attitude that is made up of two components:
Self Care with a Zen wellness attitude occurs when you feel good from the inside out. It’s not the temporary happiness that a candy bar gives you or the high you get when you splurge on your favorite purse or makeup. Sure, those are fun, but they are temporary. They usually leave you feeling empty after a little while and looking for the next best thing right?
Zen attitude and wellness embody your mind, spirit, and self-care for your body. It makes you feel good from the inside out and the outside in. You won’t be able to help but exude happiness and good energy when you take care of the totality of YOU.
When you feel good, you automatically spread goodness around you – you can’t help but share your good energy when you’re centered and feeling great.
Who doesn’t love a feeling of overall wellness and success?
Take Time for You !
We all need to take time for ourselves to recharge and recuperate. Remember to take time for you! Yes, it can be hard when you have a busy schedule, a family, or any other commitments.
But it’s super important to find some time for yourself and not let others dictate your schedule. You might have to make some sacrifices, but in the end, it will be worth it for your mental and overall health.
Here are a few simple things to help you stay grounded and in the present moment-
Try many things and see what works for you – what brings you back to your core and makes you able to take care of yourself and those around you.
Zen colors are a way to create a sense of calmness and serenity. They are typically calming and relaxing. They are also soothing and provide a sense of peace.
Everywhere you look there are colors – right? How much do you invite them into your life? You could even introduce some zen colors which are calming, and soothing to make for the perfect environment.
Whether it’s for meditation or just helping with grounding yourself to be in the present moment in time. The word zen is derived from the Japanese word ‘zen-’ which means “quiet, serene”. Zen colors are not just about a soothing color palette, but also about how these colors make you feel.
Color affects everything from your mood to your thoughts and even your behavior. Think about the colors that soothe you. What about how you feel when you enter a room?
Now think about the colors that make you feel more frazzled or angry. See the difference in your feelings?
Colors invoke feelings and even motivate you (or the opposite) in taking action. Think about what you want for your day? What you want to accomplish and how you want to feel and then choose the colors that will create this for you and watch how you can shift your energy.
Think mindfully about how YOU want to set the tone for your day.
Create Your Own Sanctuary
This section is about how you can create your own sanctuary in your own home, where you can retreat and find peace.
Everyone needs their ‘own space’ for some peace or an area you go to that is just for you – no one else. It should be a quiet area – an area you can come back to yourself to “reconnect or re-group”, an area you can nurture yourself back to YOU.
When you go out in the world or even throughout your own house, other energies are pulling at you and influencing you all the time. If you’re an empath, you can’t help but embody them. It’s your instinct and that’s okay – as long as you make sure to take care of yourself and replenish your energy.
Your sanctuary should be filled with all the things that center you, perhaps some-
Know that your private sanctuary is always set up and ready when you arrive home. This helps to release any toxic energy you may have collected before you move on to the rest of your evening with your family and or loved pet.
How To Find Yourself Spiritually
Understanding your spirituality has a different meaning for everyone. It’s not a one size fits. To find your spiritual self, you need to ask yourself what it is that you want in life.
What are your values? What do you need for the world to be a better place?
You can explore by journaling, meditating, or doing some soul searching. Many people believe in personal astrology and numerology to understand themselves at a deeper level.
Other people also find that incorporating feng shui into their home environment enables them to take a break and explore what the right path in life could be.
Once you figure out what’s important to you and what your values are, it becomes easier for you to live your life with meaning and purpose.
How To Shift Energy
The idea that we are in control of our own lives and the world around us is a powerful one. It’s also one that is easily lost when we’re faced with challenges. Here are some useful tips on how to shift energy using mindfulness and a zen attitude.
Yes, you can use your energy to shift the energy of others. How?
Knowing how to shift your energy so you affect those around you (positively) is the key. Even when you think you’re living mindfully, there are always ways to improve and transform it.
Think about what you want to do with your life – what do you want to accomplish and how do you want to behave in life? Then start asking the powerful questions – whilst journaling and meditating on them. You’ll get the answers when you’re in silence, listening to the energies around you.
Finding your zen attitude with some mindfulness self-care practices is more than just feeling good – it’s about seeing yourself for who you truly are and what you can achieve. You are an integral part of this universe – you may feel small but you have an incredible role here and never forget this!
Embrace all of the tools available to you and see how different you feel. Breathwork, colors, symbols, crystals, mediation, and journaling all play a vital role in a holistic life. They can center you and help you manifest what you were put here on this Earth to do.
