Chakra Meditation Music: Working With Rose Quartz

chakra meditation music

Chakra meditation music is a perfect companion for balancing and healing chakras.  Working with rose quartz energy to open and activate the heart chakra energy center, allowing unconditional love, nurturing, and empowerment to flow.  This allows us to tap into the channel of abundance.

We are all naturally aware of how music has a meaningful effect on the body and how this is a very individual experience. Chakra meditation music was developed thousands of years ago through an ancient Indian metaphysical system known as Nāda yoga and more accurately reflects this sensation. Nāda yoga is one of the many ancient practices developed to help us reach a higher state of consciousness. So, in this blog post, we will look at how and why combining Chakra meditation music with the Heart Chakra stone and rose quartz can harmonize our overall meditation experience.

The binding philosophy behind Nāda yoga and Chakra music is based on the belief that everything in the universe exists in the form of specific vibrations rather than matter, including humans. It continues that where there is existence, there is vibration and that vibration isn’t always something that we can generally hear. These ultrasonic and subsonic sounds or vibrations are unavailable to the average human ear. But they can be attended by people who have achieved this higher state of consciousness through Sadhana or spiritual practice.

Rose Quartz Music For Heart Chakra

The theory follows that by making and listening to particular sounds, we can connect our physical realm with our spiritual realm with specific soothing frequencies. This is organized by frequency, which we will explain later in this article. By listening to this positive rose quartz music for heart Chakra while meditating and chanting, we can unblock our Chakras and realign our energies. Once we have improved the alignment of our Chakras through crystal meditation, we will then achieve a more positive conscious state, which, in turn, can lower our levels of anxiety.

Those who practice Chakra meditation regularly do so to achieve a higher state of meditation, consciousness, or nirvana. Nirvana also means to align the Chakras in this context perfectly. Five of these meditative states or Koshas within the body can be achieved through meditation. They are Annamaya (physical), Pranamaya (life force), Manomaya (mental), Vijanamaya (wisdom) and Anadamaya (bliss). Nirvana loosely means a state of perfect tranquility and liberation from worldly suffering or bliss. You can read in-depth about this concept by studying the Vedic texts and Upanishads.

Chakra cleanse music is used to help us balance the seven energy centers located through our spine that exist alongside our koshas. Every Chakra responds to a different sound frequency from a six-tone scale, which can be used to help balance the subtle body. The Chakras are responsible for up to 114 different frequencies, split into two sides of our left (Ida) and right (Pingala). Six of these frequencies are not in use, so they are divided in two, leaving 54 frequencies on either side.

Each Chakra and associated frequency is rich in its meaning. But the rose quartz crystal is most closely related to the Heart Chakra, which is at the center of the body and therefore works in line with the other Chakras. The other six Chakras are the Root Chakra, the Sacral Chakra, the Solar Plexus Chakra, the Heart Chakra, the Throat Chakra, the Third Eye Chakra, and the Crown Chakra. We have listed the set of frequencies later in this article.

How To Use Chakra Music?

Nāda yoga separates divine music into the sacred internal silent vibrations of the self and the external. These are conveyed through the body’s receptors to the conscious. By learning how to use chakra music, we begin to focus on our internal sounds. Not allowing our minds to wander elsewhere, we can spiritually evolve and liberate ourselves. We can reach this new state of rare divine consciousness that exists apart from the external world when we have perfected this practice.

The seminal Tibetan Buddhist teachings within Jamgon Kongtrul’s ‘The Treasury of Knowledge’ explain that this state was once achieved by a young prince known as Mahasiddha Vinapa. Through nine years of great perseverance and his love of music, he achieved a god-like state which equipped him with otherworldly powers. “It is absolute sound; it is the potential sound of everything composed and waiting to be composed. Lost in this non-sound, the sense of self becomes infinitely diffused in emptiness,” he explains in the text.

For the Heart or Anahata Chakra, we associate the chant ‘Yam,’ the element of air, the action ‘I love,’ the color green, and the energy of love. The vibrational energy of relaxing Chakra music is believed to join these physical, emotional, and spiritual realms together. Solfeggio frequencies for our Heart Chakras and therefore rose quartz crystals are set at 528 Hz, also referred to as the love and healing frequency. Music sounds very deep, relaxing, and mystical at this frequency, so it is unsurprisingly a prevalent choice. It is said to help you experience harmony with the natural world.

Meditation Music To Align Chakras

When it comes to meditation music to align chakras, many people use solfeggio, reiki, or relaxation music. This helps with soothing the mind, grounding, and letting go.

It also allows us some peaceful and reflective time to release unwanted thoughts and negative energy connected to those thoughts.  This restores our natural balance.  Once we come back to a balanced state, we feel renewed and in the form of flow.  This flow allows for more good things to come our way, rather than struggling, swimming upstream, dealing with conflict, and being stressed.

While meditation is steeped in ancient wisdom, simply combining relaxing Chakra balancing music with meditation elevates a spiritual experience of relaxation.

It’s commonly used in yoga studios around the world.

When we practice Sadhana or any spiritual practice, we can combine music with meditation and chanting to experience internal and external cleansing vibrations. As we meditate and focus on our internal frequencies, the rose quartz crystal metaphysical frequencies alongside the Heart Chakra music frequency can also be used to cleanse the other six Chakras.

The seven Chakra healing frequencies and their associations are listed below:

1.  Root Chakra (Muladhara) Situated at the base of the spine
(The word “root”, in this case, means foundation, it connects to the earth and to our sense of safety.)

 Color Red – 432 Hz

Associated with the freedom from fear and guilt and symbolizes life force and vitality. When it’s blocked we can feel insecure about ourselves or about what will happen in our lives. When this chakra is open we feel grounded, safe and secure in life.

2. Sacral Chakra (Sacrum – Swadhisthana) The word “sacral” means “of or relating to the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine, located near the navel.) (Muladhara) Situated at the base of the spine

Color Orange – 480 Hz

It eliminates blockages and opens our minds. It’s also about feelings, relationships with others, and creativity—the sense of taste and pleasure and procreation. It can help us feel more joy, creativity, and sensuality when it is open. When this chakra is blocked, when feelings of insecurity or being afraid of what others think of you will surface, you might feel that your creative energy has been depleted.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Naval or Manipura) Known as the solar plexus chakra  located in the middle of the stomach.

Color Yellow – 528 Hz

Transformational healing symbolizes personal power, self-esteem, and personal authority. Opened solar plexus chakra means that you are confident and have high self-esteem. It also means expressing your opinions without feeling intimidated or shy. Closed solar plexus chakra feeling unworthy of anything good happening in your life or when you don’t have enough confidence to speak up for yourself. Lack of willpower and self-esteem can lead to fear and doubt.

4. Heart Chakra ( Anahata) Located center of the chest and heart area.  (The central Chakra, connecting all other Chakras)

Color Green – 594 Hz

Symbolizes love, compassion, connection, and acceptance. The open heart chakra allows energy to flow from the lower three chakras to the upper four. We feel self-love and can receive love from others and give love to others. It’s also about empathy and compassion. The closed heart chakra is a state of being in which we have shut ourselves off from others and cannot receive or give love. It also prevents the flow of energy. It’s also associated with fear, regret, shame, and anger.

5. Throat Chakra  (Vishuddha) Located in the throat, and it has a symbol of a blue lotus.

Color is Light Blue  -672 Hz

Represents communication, clarity of voice, creativity, and expression. The open throat chakra, feeling more confident in communicating with others. Also, express yourself through your voice or through writing quickly and clearly. Closed throat chakra means that the person is disconnected from their voice, not feeling heard, or cannot speak up. They have trouble expressing themselves verbally or writing and feel blocked from communicating with others.

6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) Located in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows

Color is Indigo – 720 Hz

Represents intuition, insight, and wisdom, also associated with clairvoyance and psychic abilities—connection with the spiritual realm. Open third eye chakra, we also see it intuitively and have a clear understanding of things. We are more open and receptive to new ideas. Closed third eye chakra, there’s a lot more skepticism and close-minded.

7. Crown Chakra – (Sahasrara) Located at the top of the head, in the center of our brain.

Color is Purple and can be white- 768 Hz

Represents a connection to higher realms, Divine and consciousness, spiritual awakening, and enlightenment.  Open crown chakra means a strong connection spiritually, indicating enlightenment. A person is in touch with their inner self and has a strong sense of purpose. Closed crown chakra, feelings of disconnection from their spiritual side, higher power, and from themselves.

The Chakra cleansing music practice is not limited to the Heart Chakra nor limited to using all three energy sources. But, when we combine all three, we create an environment that enables us to complement and enhance each source’s energy better.

This practice is very much about using your intuition. So although there is a long and rich history of application that comes with it, do not be put off. If you find that combining a crystal, chakra music, and meditation is not what works best for you, feel free to change things around a little. Although, you may find there is greater harmony when adopting all three methods at once.

What Are The Benefits Of Chakra Cleanse Music?

Chakra meditation is a holistic practice involving the subtle body and cannot currently be scientifically analyzed. There is no current way to measure the vibrations or energies referred to. However, this ancient practice has existed for thousands of years and pre-dates modern science.

Meditation and the Chakra philosophy aim to help us to reach a state of higher consciousness and wellbeing. The ability to fully align our Chakras and gain a true form of nirvana is rare, but it has been achieved through continued dedication and practice over many years. Most people who practice Chakra meditation, however, regularly report the following benefits:

What is so often missing from our modern lives is the ability to take time and reflect on our surroundings. By understanding the philosophy and associations behind the Chakras and their frequencies, we can learn to release our minds from the past and the future more effectively. Through meditation, we can also enhance our understanding of the unknown universe and enjoy the benefits of this ancient holistic practice. But, more importantly, we can take time to get to know ourselves and develop our spirituality.

These Chakra practices have existed for so long because they are ultimately about getting to know yourself and connecting with the universal energy surrounding you. Additions of rose quartz crystals, meditation chanting, and Charka music can enhance your experience. Although everyone’s experience will be individual, we encourage you to follow your intuition and enjoy the flow.
